Healing for Pets and Animals

My love for animals drew me to want to offer pets the same personal physical and emotional trauma resolution service I offer humans. These are either online calls with the pet’s carer present using Zoom or can be completely remote. To help facilitate this, along with qualifications in hands-on and distant Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Osteodouce (energetic Osteopathy), I have additional certification and training in Animal Reiki and mentorship in Animal Communication. Having a variety of skills at my disposal is often invaluable as I am able to mix and match as necessary, occasionally using stones and crystals to help clear the energetic field.

“Luna was in obvious pain after ACL surgery, crying day and night. When Sarah finished she jumped up and tried to run around! I’ve never seen anything like it. After that she didn’t need pain relief and has been recovering well. We couldn’t be more grateful.”

How do I work with Pets and Animals?

The perspective and priorities of the pet or animal, in relation to their own pain, discomfort or behaviour, can vary greatly from those of their human carer or owner. Animal communication skills help me understand how they are feeling and how they perceive their own needs and can convey to them the importance their carer attaches to them receiving help and healing for certain issues.

My work with animals is quite fluid, and I have no set way of working with any particular animal at any one time. In a quiet, safe and logistically accessible environment, I sometimes visit animals at their home, where I may or may not physically touch them while working. Although not at all essential, I do enjoy meeting my animal clients in person if the opportunity arises.

It could be that I work with the animal on a Zoom call with their human. This works well for dogs and cats who can stay in the comfort of their own home. They can feel safe in familiar surroundings. Often, an animal will get up and move or have a drink during a session, usually after a significant shift. This allows their nervous systems to integrate any release and rebalance.

To date, I have worked with dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, a sheep, goat, tortoise, rabbit, budgie, alpaca, chicken and bee colonies!

Connecting online or remotely allows me to work with animals in many different countries. For example, I was contacted to work with a dog brother and sister in New Hampshire and two goats in South Carolina, United States. The hive of bees was in Northern Italy. I am, of course, happy to offer help to any species. I would suggest we arrange a brief, free telephone consultation if you would like to discuss any pet or animal issues. Please remember to check with your vet first if you have any concerns regarding your animal’s health.

“I had a session with Sarah for my Saarloos Wolfdog Shiloh. It was amazing to witness how he reacted to Sarah while there was (physically) such a great distance between them.
Sarah's qualities are being so gentle yet so powerful! She really connected with me and my dog and explained a lot so I would understand what's going on. Shiloh responded amazingly and during the session I started to notice moments where he literally reacted to her by taking a deep breath or moving around.
Sarah is amazing in her distance craniosacral work for animals!”
